You have an opportunity to pick from different cartoon creatures and/or pets, trucks etc. If the son or daughter adores Lilo and Stitch, without doubts, you may find a lot of coloring e-books featuring the heroes of that cartoon. People are making the adult coloring books bestsellers on Amazon! At the time of this writing, eight of the top twenty books on the bestsellers list, are coloring books for adults. There must be something behind this recent growth in interest.

The two-part episode Knight Rider episode “Mouth of the Snake”, was a backdoor pilot for a 1984 series to be called All That Glitters. Rejected by NBC, the lead character and actor were recycled for a short-lived 1985–1986 series titled Code of Vengeance, in it, David Dalton (Charles Taylor), a Vietnam veteran-turned-drifter, travels across the United States in a camper van, with only his dog for company. Dalton involves himself in the personal lives of people he meets. In a similar fashion to Knight Rider, he uses his fighting skills to help them gain justice over their enemies. The Dalton character was retooled for the planned spin-off series, whose pilot, Code of Vengeance, was a surprise ratings success in June 1985. A subsequent series, to be called Dalton, was ordered by NBC for midseason, then production was cancelled after just four episodes were completed. These aired in the summer of 1986 as a television movie titled Dalton: Code of Vengeance II and as a part of a fill-in series called Dalton’s Code of Vengeance.

Coloring pages not only enhance concentration skills, eye-hand coordination, color coordination and various other essential skills, they also give you some time to relax with your child. Moreover, coloring papers are so enjoyable and learning that parents give feedback of increased concentration among their children, better coordination of colors etc. My kids turn into saints once they see the coloring sheets rolling out of the printer. They love it when I start passing out coloring printables with their favorite characters on it. The most valuable aspect of coloring pages are there educational value. They will help your kids with their motor skills i.e. finger dexterity, eye-hand coordination as well as increase their mental capacity. The list goes on regarding the benefits of allowing your child to color versus playing video games or watching television. Occasionally, you'll find official cartoon or TV character sites (such as PBS programs) will make available coloring pages for free to their fans. And there are many other sites that distribute coloring pages of those copyrighted characters. Sounds like dangerous legal ground ...but, surprisingly, I've never heard of any of these sites being prosecuted for copyright infringement. So they'll probably continue to make them available. If you haven't experienced Handy Manny yet then I can recommend you do so! First launched by Disney in 2006, this helpful handyman is a great role model for kids of all ages. As a parent I find it refreshing to have a positive character for my young boys to watch. Like all Disney programs for children there is no violence but what I enjoy the most is the fact Manny doesn't use computers. It is good to see a show that teaches the benefits of gaining real world skills and the rewards of having a trade.
